Refunds: Mobile Wallets
If you need the “card number” for a refund request and the purchase was made using a mobile wallet, like Apple Pay, it’s important to know that these services do not use or show your actual card number. Instead, it uses a Device Account Number (a masked version of your card) for security.
Here’s how to find the correct information to provide for a refund, with out this information we will not be able to find your transaction:
Apple Pay

📱 On iPhone
-
Open the Wallet app
-
Tap the card you used for the purchase
-
Tap the ••• (More) button in the top corner
-
Select Card Details
-
Look for:
-
Device Account Number (this is what Apple Pay used)
-
You will only see the last 4 digits, which is what we are looking for.
-
⌚ On Apple Watch
-
Open the Watch app on your iPhone
-
Tap Wallet & Apple Pay
-
Select the card
-
View the Device Account Number
Google Pay/Wallet
📱 On Android
-
Open the Google Pay app on your phone
-
Tap the transaction in your activity feed
-
You'll see the last 4 digits of the card used for that transaction
-
To see more card details, go to Payment Methods and tap the card — you may see a virtual card number (different from your physical card number) that Google uses for transactions
